Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated video games of 2020. The amazing storyline and the ultra-realistic graphics are the key points of this dystopian based first-person shooter game. The game is set to release in the fall of 2020, and the developers at CD Projekt Red recently announced the hardware specification for the PC gaming community.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to be released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Stadia, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Although the next-gen gaming consoles can handle the game on max settings, the developers at CD Projekt Red announced the minimum specification for PC gaming, and the gamers are not impressed with it. The gamers who own a minimum specs PC won’t be able to get the full experience of Cyberpunk 2077.
Exploring the dusty nightlife requires a beast of a machine that can play games at max settings without any drop in the framerates. The computers which were able to run PUBG at max settings won’t be able to run Cyberpunk 2077, and if they do, players can expect massive lags and drops in the frame rate, making the game unplayable.
Gamers can opt for an additional graphic card. Still, it won’t be enough to run the game because, on 18th September 2020, CyberpunkGame released the minimum system requirements and recommended system requirements for PC users. If someone has less than the bare minimum hardware, then PUBG might be the best option because Cyberpunk 2077 requires a lot of storage and a premium set of hardware configurations, which costs a lot of money. Moreover, the CyberpunkGame posted the reason for the delay on their Twitter account, where they also mentioned that the game is now completed and ready to be shipped.
Of course, a minimum specs machine will run the game, but the real thrill and the excellent cinematography will be compromised during the gameplay. Forget streaming; the game itself will run like the old PowerPoint presentation.
According to the tweet, the minimum system requirements are as follows.
- Windows 7 or 10 (64-bit)
- DirectX 12
- Intel Core i5-3570K processor or AMD FX-8310
- 8 GB Memory
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 470 graphic card
- HDD Storage
